Tuohi Silver bracelet is handmade of Finnish birch bark, birch wood and recycled silver. The bracelet is handmade from order. Send us a message info@koivistostudio.fi and tell the length you want. You can also adjust the length. Every bracelet has a unique pattern and surface. The surface of birch bark is finished with oil and wax. Tuohi Silver collection won The Finnish Jewellery of the Year 2021 ‘Vuoden Koru’ competition organized by Jules & Beryl in co-operation with Finnish Goldsmiths’ Association.
Materials
Wood is a living material and every piece has its own color and texture. It means, that the texture and color can be little different from piece to piece.
The materials are carefully chosen. We use only certified European wood. This way we can be sure, that the wood comes from well cared and controlled forests.
Care
Avoid contact with water, this way your Koivisto Studio product will last long. You can oil the wooden surface, if it has some scratches or has been in contact with water.
Production
The products are handmade by us at our creative workshop Koivisto Studio in Karkkila, Finland. We want to honor the materials and give a hand made touch to them. With a small scale production we ensure good quality and show our care towards the environment. We produce our products as sustainable as possible.
